About us

In 1968 the Church started with seven young people who were hungry for God. The fellowship grew steadily over the years, meeting in people’s homes and hired halls. The Church bought its first building in Henry Street in 1978 and over the next few years planted people out into surrounding towns to establish fresh expressions of God’s family. The Church soon outgrew the building and in 1989 the Forum was purchased.

The Church has continued to grow and know a remarkable grace from God. In 1994 and in subsequent years there was a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit that significantly impacted many people’s lives, brought greater depths of revelation of God and new direction to the Church, helping us to position ourselves for the next stage in our journey.

Our Vision is to build a radical relevant Church that empowers people to express God’s heart, fulfil their dreams and change the world.

Our Mission is to create a culture where people from every nation and generation can have a genuine encounter with the living God. Our mandate is to see people established in the truth, equipped to fulfil their dreams and empowered to change the world around them. We want everyone to live in the fullness of everything Jesus paid for on the cross, to express the likeness of heaven here on earth and leave a legacy for the generations to come..
