Satellites Youth Camp 2024 

2nd - 6th August 2024 | Bath & West Showground

Summer Youth Camp is always a major highlight for young people. It’s such an opportunity for youth to have fun, develop friendships, connect more deeply with youth leaders and most importantly have life changing encounters with Jesus. 
 
This year, we are heading back to Satellites, run by Youthscape which is happening at the Bath and West showground in Shepton Mallet.

Satellites

“We want to see young people living with God at the center of their lives. Everything else is secondary to that. We live in a world where Christianity is often seen as a lifestyle choice for young people; another social option to sit alongside sports practice and a regular squad battle in Call of Duty; another element of our compartmentalised lives. But that isn’t all that God is interested in. He doesn’t exist to revolve around us, to serve our needs when we ask him. It’s designed to be the other way around. We were always meant to be in his orbit. Like satellites.”

When Is It? 

Delegates can arrive at Satellites from midday on Friday 2nd August, with venues opening from 2pm and the first main meeting together that evening. The final main meeting will be on the evening of Tuesday 6th August, and you’re welcome to stay on site that night. We’re asking everyone to be packed up and on their way home by 10am on Wednesday 7th August.

Transport

We are asking parents to organise their own transport to and from the show ground (and maybe helping your young person unpacking and putting up a tent). We will help coordinate transport but ask parents to share the cost of fuel

Booking

Ticket price includes admission, food and extra costs. It doesn't cover transport there and back or food trucks on the last night.
Early Bird price of £139 ends on 31st March 2024. After then tickets will be at the full price of £159.
