Prayer
Prayer is happening in different expressions across our church family and the city right now. Join in when you can, as often as you can.
There is a stirring within a number of people for a call to pray and seek God's face. The scripture that captures well God's imperative in times of crisis is 2 Chronicles 7 v 14: 'if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land'.

The following prayer gathering happens monthly
Prayer for the Prodigals
‘The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much’ James 5 v 16
Many of us have family members or close friends who at one time committed their lives to Christ but are currently no longer walking with God. His heart is for prodigals like these to return to Him and His arms are outstretched to welcome them back.
We will be meeting to pray for prodigals monthly in the Forum Coffee House from 7pm to 8pm. Please check the calendar for the date of our next gathering
For any questions or further information please contact Peter Scott
Prayer for the Persecuted Church
As part of our rhythm of prayer, every Saturday from 8.30am - 9am, we are praying for the persecuted church.
The writer to the Hebrews tells us
to remember those in prison as if we were their fellow prisoners and those who are ill treated as if we were suffering ourselves and Paul tells the Thessalonians
to be joyful always and pray continually SO we will pray joyfully for those in the family of God who are suffering and struggling the most around the world.
As well as topical issues, we will pray through the most persecuted countries - taking one or two a week.
